Welcome to the St. Joan of Arc Preschool blog! We are off to a great start in 2008. The kids came back from the holiday break ready rested and ready to learn. Oh yes, they were excited to see their friends too! The interaction between them is remarkable. They learn more from each other than any teacher could hope to inspire. We strive to give them the tools and let them take off and GO!
Last week we built an "O"CEAN painting crabs, starfish and our own"Rainbow Fish" complete with sparkling scales. We added "o"ctopus, seahorse and seaweed and explores shells, shark teeth and sand. This week we will learn about "P"olar Bears and their habitat. Brrrr! I get cold thinking about them. We will snuggle up in our "P"ajamas on Friday and make "P"ancakes. Yummm!
I want to thank Miss Cathy Byrne for helping in our classroom. Cathy is a volunteer at St. Joan of Arc. Cathy has been an asset to the Second Grade and Mrs. Breen for several years now. I have lured her down to our room and we love her!
Please contact me with questions or concerns about your child pkline@sjoa.org . Have a great week - stay warm!
