This week a CLOWN came to visit. (Sorry JulesJ) The clown showed us that it was really Ms. Peggy. She put on the shoes, wig, outfit, collar, nose, glasses and hat to prove it was really her. The Butterfly class drew clowns by listening and following directions. They did a great job. They are hanging in the classroom now. We read The Very Hungary Caterpillar and the Caterpillar class made caterpillars.
We went “camping” in the classroom today. Mrs. Jeanne brought in chocolate chip cookies for the campout, I mean camp’in’. We had a fire and camp songs too. The fire was ‘hot’ and we found animals at the campsite. This week we shared cookies with everyone. It is so much better when we share! We need sugar, flour, eggs, an oven and a spoon. YUMJ
The children talked about Church. The told us that we need to be quiet and listen to God in Church. We also learned that some churches have the children go upstairs awhile the adults are downstairs learning what Jesus has to teach us.
LABEL EVERYTHING: We still have items in lunchboxes that are not labeled. Please label jackets that will come on your little one as the weather gets colder.
